PlantsForTheFuture was started as an eBay.co.uk small business summer 2008 by James Kinsella (Me if you didnt know).

Due to my fondness of wildlife i took to growing many varieties of tree in my greenhouse over the last few years and had the thought that i should share this with whomever i can, some research later and i found one or two suppliers at a decent price and took to eBay selling Variety packets of seed for a decent price, due to the increasing fee's involved with eBay i started researching more and more and now have a small variety of quality suppliers and due to my decreased costs i am able to pass on the savings to you.

Its not just seed i deal with though, as i said i took to growing tree's too. Soon you will see live plants being added to the site although sadly i can only offer these to UK residents due to laws regarding posting of live specimens.

I'm sure that most of you have heard of the Redwoods? These are an ancient Sequoia species that have survived for millions of years and one of which (Coastal Redwood - Sequoia Sempervirens) is currently the worlds largest living organism... During 2008 i managed to grow some of these amazing tree's and this year i will be doing so on a much larger scale.
Due to the purchase of some quality Root Trainers i will be attempting to grow a large amount of these which will go on sale the following year depending on their conditions, although hard work i thoroughly enjoy watching seedlings pop up and develop into beautiful specimens.
